Bootlegged on the Market

What more can this shirt say? Its been through quite a lot in its time and so have we. The focus of this shirt lies in the examination of intellectual property rights and challenges the market of buying and selling underground goods. Copyright has become a huge issue in limiting our creative potential as a society.

Make a stand against the oppressive nature of copyright and declare your individuality as a social pirate. Show that we are not afraid to challenge the authorities and redistribute the modes of creativity.

Dissent via T-Shirt

One of our personal favorites, this shirt says it all! Stick it to "the man" by publicly displaying your dissatisfaction with the system. Go out of your way to grind against the grain of society. Engage in critical subversive activity with your polis t-shirt!

This is the most limited of the polis collection. We believe it would add a nice touch when your face appears on TV after you get arrested for participating in that big protest you have been planning.

We(ar) the seeds of Change

No, this isnt another save the rainforest shirt! Our areas of operation often take the form of the grid. We have grown to be dependant on it for a number of luxuries in our lives. Are these really necessary? This shirt examines this relationship.

A tree symbolizes growth. Our aim is to grow beyond the grid and break the structures that are preventing us from realizing our autonomous nature. Our public space is being taken over by corporate advertising, surveillance, censorship, and increased police security. It's about time we take back what is rightfully ours!

This shirt says what you want it to say

This space is intentionally left blank for ideas that we haven't had yet. We know you have something important to say, so why not fill in the blanks yourself! We reccommend using a stencil and spraypaint, but youre free to do as you wish with the space provided. Send us your phrase so we know how the shirt is being used.

People tend to pick up mottos, have 'philosophies'. They relate to an environment they think they chose, but the very choice of that environment is influenced by an ensemble of peculiar social determinations. They pick up codes that filter reality, and that forge their identity in relation to the rest of the world. They build up communities, and then they start a war. Rituals, from idiosyncrasy to populism, is what shape discourse. Reading and being read is what drive speeches around.
